Gulf Tourism (GU LF Tourism Guidance Services L.L.C, DET Licence No. 1543064) is a Dubai-licensed tourism guidance company offering guided tours with licensed local guides across the United Arab Emirates. We exist for one reason: the best way to understand a place is with someone who calls it home.
Why we started
The UAE welcomes millions of visitors every year, yet most of them see it from the window of a big coach or through the same handful of photo stops. Meanwhile, the country is full of passionate, professional guides — Emiratis and long-time residents who can tell you why the wind towers of Al Fahidi were built the way they were, where the best karak chai in Sharjah is poured, or which wadi in Fujairah still has water in late spring.
Those guides rarely had a simple way to reach travellers directly. We built Gulf Tourism to change that: one trusted place where you can find the right guide for your trip, see their real availability, and book in minutes.
What makes us different
- Every guide is verified. Before a profile goes live, our team checks the guide’s Emirates ID and their tour guide licence from the relevant tourism authority, such as Dubai’s Department of Economy & Tourism or Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture & Tourism.
- Real people, real reviews. Only travellers who have completed a tour can leave a review, so every rating comes from an actual experience.
- Fair for guides. Guides set their own prices, schedules and group sizes. We take a transparent commission only when a tour happens.
- Safe for travellers. You pay securely online. Your guide is paid only after your tour, and you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before it starts.
