The terms for licensed guides who offer tours on Gulf Tourism.

These Guide Terms apply in addition to our Terms of Service when you offer tours on Gulf Tourism.

1. Eligibility and verification

  • You must hold a valid UAE tour guide licence from the relevant tourism authority and a valid Emirates ID, and keep them valid while your tours are listed.
  • We verify your documents before your profile goes live and may ask you to re-verify at any time. Tell us immediately if your licence expires, is suspended or is withdrawn.

2. Your listings

  • You set your own prices, schedules, group sizes and policies within the Platform’s rules.
  • Listings must be accurate, including what is and is not included, meeting points and any physical requirements.
  • You must keep your availability up to date and honour confirmed bookings.

3. Commission and payments

  • Travellers book and pay GU LF Tourism Guidance Services L.L.C (trading as Gulf Tourism), which is the merchant of record and issues all invoices and receipts. You deliver tours as an independent service provider contracted by us. For each completed tour we pay you a service fee equal to the booking price less our margin; the current rate is shown in your Earnings dashboard and changes apply only to new bookings.
  • Your earnings are credited after the tour is completed and become available after a short holding period, after which you can request a payout to your UAE bank account.
  • You must not accept any payment from travellers, or issue your own invoices or receipts, for bookings made through the Platform.

4. Cancellations

Cancelling confirmed bookings harms travellers. Repeated cancellations or late cancellations may lead to your listings being paused or your account being suspended. Travellers are refunded in full when you cancel.

5. Conduct and safety

You must act professionally, follow UAE laws and tourism regulations, hold any insurance and permits required for your activities, and put the safety of your guests first.

6. Suspension

We may suspend or remove a guide account for false information, an invalid licence, serious complaints, safety concerns or breach of these terms.
